This four week course aimed at adult beginners or those who would like to brush up on the basics of watercolor will spend each week on a different aspect of watercolor painting!

Week 1 Techniques
Basics of brushes and using water with paint. Wet on wet painting, wet on dry, blooms.

Week 2 Color
Mixing colors and basic color theory

Week 3 Application and Values
Working light to dark, negative space, navigating a painting

Week 4 First Painting
Using what has been learned to put together a simple painting.

Ages 16+ OR age 12 with a parent also participating are welcome.
